Burwood

Burwood is a suburb of Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. It is located approximately 8 kilometres south-west of the Melbourne central business district, and is part of the Melbourne metropolitan area. At the 2016 Census, Burwood had a population of 16,811. Burwood was originally part of the Yarra Ranges National Park, and was gazetted as a suburb in 1892.
